Health has a crucial role in everybody's life since you will not be able to do any work if you do not have a physically fit body. But we have a dynamic and fast life that keeps us continuously moving that we are hasty in drinking and eating food most of times and we are not sure how some kind of drinks and food could impact our health in long time. Many individual consider drinking tea to be positive for our health, but even good things have some limitations. You must balance your drinking habits with your lifestyle if you wish to stay fit and healthy, which is also true with Tea.

Though many people consider Tea as essential for well-being and it can help with immunity maintenance and weight loss, some of them now consider that excessive drinking of Tea could cause kidney stone problems. Since, it is not very complicated and severe health problem, many of them do not consider it as much serious issue. Kidney stone problems are observed more commonly among people of Middle East since they suffer from dehydration due to lot of sweating resulting from high temperature in those regions. Tea is considered helpful for people having heart problems and diabetes, but it is not a good choice for people having kidney stones.

The reason why tea is not good for kidney stone patients is that have oxalates which is the main ingredient that can develop kidney stones. Oxalates are considered to be the root cause for kidney stones because they mix up with the calcium in the urine and form oxalate stones and calcium stones in the kidney which later turns into kidney stones. In some patients, the level of oxalate is very high and therefore drinking tea elevates the chances of kidney stones in them. The same kind of oxalates are also found in food products like chocolate, nuts and spinach and therefore these foods are already prohibited for patients that suffer from kidney stones.

Another important point to consider is that oxalates present in Tea does not imbibed by our body and leads to excessive accumulation of oxalates causing increase in size of kidney stones which could cause excessive pain for the patients. Some experts suggest that coffee and Tea could dehydrate your body and could enhance probability of kidney stones.

The milk that you add in the tea also contains casein which blends with polyphenols available in the tea and that can harm the body further. If you are suffering from kidney stones it is always recommended that you keep away from hot drinks like tea and coffee because it can suck up all the water inside your system. If you still cannot control your temptation you can try drinking lot of water after sometime and this will help you to reduce the problems that can happen because of tea. - 42532
